When was the last time you looked up at the night sky?
When was the last time you did something to nurture yourself?
What if I suggested that you could nurture yourself by LOOKING up to the night sky?
You see I have been doing just that for the past two years. I have been looking up to the sky and more importantly to the Moon and using her as a guide to help me navigate these waters of life.
When most people think of the Moon; they think of a big, full, bright Moon in the night sky. We think of crazy energies, people doing wild things, we think of the tides, and usually that is about it.
But if you begin to study and follow the Moon, you will see -She is sooooo much more. She can bring you magic!
For the past two and half years, I have been tuned into her cycles, leaning into her phases- using them as a guide to allow my life to flow with grace and ease. Using her to manage my time.
I really started tuning into the moon when I began my manifesting journey. I would use the New Moon (the beginning of a new lunar cycle) to set my intentions for what I wanted to create. I had had some luck with manifesting but I wanted to really step it up a notch. It was a sacred monthly ritual for me, that I would later go on to share in my monthly moon circles- a gathering of women in my private home studio to collectively tune into the energy of the Moon.
The New Moon creates a powerful surge of energy for us to align with each month.
It is this point in the lunar cycle that the Moon meets the Sun in the sky. It is the only time in the lunar cycle that the Sun and the Moon share the same vibration as the zodiac sign they have met in. When we continually work with the New Moon in particular, we get a chance to hit all the areas of our personal development, as she makes her way through all of the zodiac signs (each carrying their own special energy and vibration.)
Tomorrow is the New Moon in Taurus.
Taurus brings an energy of beauty and love after all she is ruled by Venus. Under the soft, feminine energy of the Taurus New Moon, we can all bring more joy, creativity, and love into our lives with greater ease.
